Neeraj Chopra was born in Khadra in a Small Village of Panipat, Haryana. His father was a Farmer who worked in Farming and did Cultivation of Crops. During his childhood, he was fat and thick. So, Many used to Call him “Mota” in Hindi. But, Ignoring all these things, he always focused on his Studies and Games. With time he suffered from Obesity and for this he would sended for Gymnasium at Madlauda So, here he would loose Weight and Be Fit.

For the First Time, he loved watching the javelin Throwers in the Shivaji Stadium. He loved it and would try to practice by himself. When he reached 13 Years, his Uncle would take him to Panipat Sports Authority. Here he did Running with his Uncle to be Fit and Control his Weight Gain. At a very small age, he would throw a Javelin at a very impressive Distance. His Practice and love of the game were noticeable. Jaiveer Choudhary who was the Coach recognised him in the Stadium. After this, he was well trained by his Coach.

Later, Neeraj Chopra was enrolled for Training in Tau Devi Lal Sports Complex. Here, he was trained by Coach named Nadeem Ahmed. He told his father to Buy Javelin which would Cost more than 1 Lakhs. His father was full Supportive of him and Somehow he managed to buy for him. He Regularly practised with his Javelin and his Hardworking Routine made him achieve a distance of 55 Meters. In 2012 Neeraj Chopra Played for the first time Under-16 National Junior Championship Organised in Lucknow. In this Championship Scoring 68.46 Meters, he won Gold Medal.

In 2015, he won Gold Medal in Athletics Championship at only the age of 15. This was the time when he got the opportunity to play at the International level. In 2016, he won Gold Medal for World Under-20 Championship in Bydgoszcz, Poland. In this Championship, Neeraj threw Javelin at a Distance of 86.48 Meters. After this, he got the opportunity from Army to work as a Junior Commission Officer. He was the first member of his family to work in a Government job. Then, He would support his family financially.

In 2018, He won Gold Medal in the Asian Games with a Javelin Throw of 88.06 Meters. This Year he won more Gold medals in Commonwealth Games, Sotteville Athletics Meet, and Savo Games. His Career was Boosting but Incidently he injured himself. For about two years he suffered from Bed Rest. After when he recovered he started Practice and Training. In 2020 as World Suffered Corona Pandemic, the Games were Scheduled for the Next Year 2021. So, he got time to Best Prepare for the Olympics. Finally, he Qualified for the Olympics and Give India Gold Medal with 87.58 Meters. After this, He got well recognised and popular across the globe.
