Jassie Gill was born in 26 November, 1988 in jandali village of Ludhiana, Punjab, India. He was youngest of all Sibling’s. He was not much interested in studies. He didn’t knew that he would become interested in music and singing.
After completing his schooling from Sant Ishar Singh Ji memorial school and Karamsar rara Sahib distt, Ludhiana, Punjab, India. He did his college studies from Gobindgarh College, Punjab, India. Being weak in studies, he took music and physical education as a subject.
During a music class, a professor entered was searching for a good student in singing. Then, jassie Gill friend told jassie name. This way, jassie Gill sung in infront of the teacher. His singing was really impressing for the teacher and others sitting listening to his singing. The professor told for singing in the youth fest in the college. He sung in every year in the youth fest organised in the college.
By this way, jassie become interested in singing. He decided to make career in singing. He did stage shows after completing his college studies. He becomed popular among the local people’s due to stage shows. Then, he released his first album “Batchmate” in 2011. Many of the songs becomed flop but “churiyan” song was liked by the audience.
In May 2012, he realeased a single track “Vigre Sharabi” song. But, he was not successful with the song. He released a song “Lancer” from batchmate 2″ which was main turning point in his singing career. Later, he realeased many songs such as “Bapu Zimidar”, “Guitar Sikhda”, “Nakhre”, “Gabbroo”, “Laden”, “Nikle Currant” and many more etc.
