After completing his school studies at L.S Raheja School, Delhi, India. He did his college studies at Hansraj College, Delhi, India. From his college days only, he gave auditions for ads and modelling. He would also do many photoshoots. When he was in his last year of college. Ekta Kapoor selected him for the television serial “Kasamh Se”.
As an actor, he started his career with the television show “Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki” in the year 2008. In this television show, he played the role of Duryodhana. Then, he got an opportunity to work in serials such as “Tujh Sang Preet Lagayi Sajana”, “Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani”, “CID”.
From 2011, he was working on a high trp show “Diya aur baati”. In 2014, he left the television show “Diya Aur Baati” and entered Big Boss season 8. He became the winner of Big Boss Season 8. Later, he debuted as a host with “MTV Big F” in 2015.
