After completing her schooling from Godhula Brown Memorial English High School, Sivasagar, Assam, India. She did her college studies from the National Institute of fashion technology, New Delhi. Then, she did graduation in jewellery designing course. She had also been worked as a jewellery designing at Gili India Ltd. She started taking training for dancing during the college days only.
She specially learned dance on bharatnatyam dance form. In Delhi only, she gived the audition for Dance India Dance 2 in 2010. She was selected in the auditions but eliminated. She decided to be an actor. So, she shifted to Mumbai for giving auditions in acting. She got opportunity to work in NDTV Show “Sawaare Sabke Sapne… Preeto” in 2011.
