Vishal dadlani was born in 28 June, 1973 in mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He belonged from a Sindhi in Hindu family. His parent’s were very supportive of his singing career. From childhood, he was interested in singing.
After completing his schooling from Hill Grange High School, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He did his college studies for B.com studies from Jai Hind College, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Later, he did his studies from HR College of commerce and economics, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
In 1994, he started his career as a singer from electronic indie rock band “Pentagram”. The Pentagram is a rock band of Mumbai, Maharashtra, indian. He wa not a trained musician. He debuted as a music director from the film “Pyaar mein kabhi kabhi” in 1999.
With time, he gone into bollywood music composition. He was called by Shankar Ehsaan loy for composing song “kiss of love” for bollywood film Jhoom barabar jhoom. Before, he recorded a song “Dhoom again” for pritam. This made him recognised as a playback singer.
In 1999, he along with shekhar formed Vishal shekhar duo formed. He had worked with shekhar rawzan in various songs for bollywood. Then worked together in films such as “Dus”, “Bluffmaster”, “Om Shanti Om”, “Bachna Ae Haseeno”, “Dostana”, “Anjaana Anjaani, “Raone”, “Student of the year”, “Chennai Express”, “Bang Bang”, “Happy New Year”, “Sultan”, “Befikre”, “Pathaan”. As a singer, he debuted with jhankaar beats song “Ruk Ruk Rukna Na” in 2003.
Hus hit songs are “Dhoom Again”, “Kurban Hua”, “Jee le Zara”, “Marnaiyann”, “I feel good”, “Jab Mila tu”, “Tu meri”, “Swag se swagat”, “Bala”, “Har Funn Maula”, “Khuda Hafiz”. He has his own music level “VLT”. Later, he debuted as a judge from television show “Indian Idol Junior 1” in 2013.
