Sonu Sood had a deep interest in acting and modelling since his college years. So, he told his mom about his interest and told her to give him some Years to prove himself to be an actor Saying if he fails he would support his father in business.
So, After graduating from college Sonu shifted to Mumbai and brought only Rs 5500/- with him. He lived with 6 other boys in one room. He faced many rejections but still, he never failed himself from struggling and also did many other jobs in Mumbai to support his monthly expenses.
After Some years, someone liked his photos for the Tamil film and he went to Chennai but he didn’t know the Tamil language but he avoided it and Don’t miss this chance as this can be a path to his Success.
When he was travelling he was learning Tamil throughout his train Journey for which his mother had given him a Tamil book. He gave the audition and was selected for his first Tamil film “kallazhagar” in 1999. After he was offered some movies in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada and People start to know him.
Later, he was introduced in a Hindi film (Shaheed-E-Azam) in 2002 to play the Bhagat Singh role. People loved his role but did not rise to too much fame. But, he never stopped and has always been motivated by his mom in his struggling days.
In 2010, he had worked with Salman Khan in Dabangg (Blockbuster) as playing the role of Chhedi Singh for which he got an award for his negative role which was a big turning moment in his acting career. After this, he was offered many films and some of his films have been hit which are Singh is Kinng (2008), Happy New Year (2014), Simmba (2018).
