Preity g Zinda was born on 31 January, 1975 in Rohru, Shimla district, himachal pradesh, India. His father was an officer in Indian army. But, her father dead in car accident when Preity was just 13 years old. Her mother was also injured due to the accident and had to take bed rest for 2 years.
After completing his schooling from the Lawrence school, sanawar, solan, himachal pradesh, India. She was good at studies getting excellent grades from scholl days only. He was much interested in literature. He did his college studies for English honours from St. Bede’s college, Shimla, himachal pradesh, India.
During the initial days, she started as a modeller. In 1996, she had gone for birthday party invited at her home. Then, the director in the birthday party noticed and told to give audition for perk chocolate. She selected in the audition and got offer for her first television commercial for perk chocolate add.
