Kailash Kher was born on 7 July 1973 in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India. His father use to sing traditional folk songs. He learned all about singing from his father. He didn’t like to sing or listen to Bollywood songs. But, he was deeply passionate about singing.
When he was just 14 years, he left the home. He searched for a music guru for learning singing. So, he decided to go to Delhi. For a long time, he didn’t find any guru. He used to listen to Indian classical singers.
Later, he worked for a handicraft export business with his friend’s family. He lost money which was contributed by spending to run the business Due to this, he became depressed and wanted to do suicide.
After being rid of depression, he went to Singapore and Thailand. After spending about 6 months outside, he returned to India. Then, he went to Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. Here, he used to sing for the sage saint. His singing was appreciated by them. Due to this, he gained confidence and went to Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
In Mumbai, Kailash Kher moved around the studio for singing. He used to find an opportunity to sing in the studio. One day, Ram Sampath called him for singing in an ad jingle”. For this song, he got 5000 which was very much for him. He struggled hard for many years.
Later, he got an opportunity for singing for the Bollywood film “Andaaz”. In this film, he sang the song “Rabba Ishq Na Hove”. He emerged as a singer when sang the song “Allah ke bande” for the film “Wysa bhi hota hai part 2”. This song became a hit song and got many opportunities to work. So, this was the life story of Kailash Kher.
