Shubman Gill was born in Chak Kherewala, Punjab to a Farmer. His Father Lakhwinder Singh Gill dream’t of becoming Cricket but unfortunately he can’t becomed. At the age of 3 Only, Shubman Gill started playing Cricket. He was not able to lift the bat at that time. So, his Grandfather Dada Dildaar Singh made a comfortable bat for Shubnam from mill near his house. He used to Play Cricket with that bat. Seeing interest of Cricket in Shubman Gill, his father started giving him training.
The Place were Shubman Father did Farming on the Land. His Father Made Turf wicket with Nets for his son. This way he regularly Practiced Cricket. His father told the Villagers to do Bowling and make Shubman gill out. If someone was successful to out him, Shubman father would give 100 Ruppees.
In 2007, Shubman Shifted to Mohali, Punjab. Here, he did his school education from Manav Mangal Smart School located in Mohali. For Competitive Traning, his father joined Shubman in PCA (Punjab Cricket Association). His father took a Room in Rent near the Association. At the age of 9 years he won the Local Match Competition.
In 2009, Karsan Ghavi becomed the Incharge of Pace Bowlers Academy of PCA Stadium. Karsan Ghavi organised All India Pace Bowlers Camp. Here, Bowlers from Punjab, Bengal, Bihar and many more from other states camed. Sandeep Sharma was also the part of this camp.
